Aluminium Surface finishing

CHOOSING YOUR POWDER COATING COLOUR

The colour you choose for your aluminium joinery will depend ultimately on the look you are trying to achieve.
For a modern, clean look you could opt for a tone a few shades up or down from your house cladding, match
the joinery to the house cladding or contrast totally with dark or black joinery against a light coloured house.
Contrasting colours in natural tones will give your home a lasting quality that blends with the environment.
When you are choosing your colour consider that different colours and finishes will perform differently in different environments.
Lighter shades and matt finishes will perform best in the harsh Australian climate and can still maintain an up-to-the-minute
appearance.

STANDARD COLOURS - GROUP A
This group of neutral tones will enhance both contemporary and traditional designs.
Group A colours are our most widely selected, the neutral basis of the group lends itself to many design applications and offers easy colour matching of hardware.

POPULAR COLOURS - GROUP B
This range represents some of the current and popular colour selections for aluminium joinery. The group includes a number of stronger, bolder colours which enable you to create a look that contrasts or blends with to your environment. Many of the colours within this group are matched to COLORBOND® steel, allowing colour consistency to be achieved throughout your entire project.

SELECTED PEARLS - GROUP P
Many contemporary designs demand extra luxury; the colours in the Selected Pearls range offer a modern opulent finish, giving the project a special quality and lasting good looks.

Anodising

Simply put anodising is a hard durable finish that maintains the beauty and natural metallic Lustre of aluminium while reinforcing its natural ability to withstand the elements. It is an integral finish so it cannot flake, peel or blister.
The anodising process builds up and toughens the aluminium’s inherent resistance to corrosion. The result is a super-hard anodised finish suitable for outdoor architectural needs.
Available in a range of grades and colours, please talk to our sales team to find the right anodising grade for your project.
